I would take him to the vet , my dog had conjuncitivitis twice, WE shaved more hair from around his eyes and he hasn't gotten it again but the vet thought during the second infection he saw a fine row of lashes on the bottom rim of his eye lid and if , he has any further instances we need ot have him looked at by a specialist that deals with their eyes. He hasn't had any further problems so it may have been just from the excessive hair he has.
He has a very thick cottony coat and he has alot more hair on his face then some of my other dogs.
