I found some bands I liked so much for Sammy I put them on my website. They are tiny versions of the covered elastics I use in my hair She does get them out but they don't usually take any hair out with them. The regular "elastic" bands are good for under bows but they do rip hair out if left in too long. I am currently re-growing the middle of Sammy's hair where she ripped one of those out. I also find that using detangler spray helps because the smoother it goes in the less likely it is to rip out hair.
