I feed it still frozen. I put the amount in a baggie and let sit on the granite counter for 5 mins. Just enough thaw time for me to be able to cut it into little pieces. TJ prefer to chew it this way (he actually has to chew into it). I have also been giving a few tiny piece of apple.
