I have never tried it. All it does is mask the odor that attracts the male to the female. It is possible that you could use it and maybe the male would not be as stressed out but I would never use it and still allow the male and female be in the same room together. When a female is ready to breed she can get very flirtatious with the male and I really don't think the lack of odor will stop the male from trying to breed.
