Love

I am by no means an expert because I have a male and he has just now started letting me make a top knot. (besides the fact my family thinks boys shouldn't have bows).

WHat i have used are the tiny rubber bands that my son got from the orthodontist when he had braces. they are very flexible and you don't need to twist them more than once because they are so small. We seem to have several of these little packages of rubber bands around from his braces days.

If you went to a local orthodontist I bet they would sell you a pack. I do know there are different strengths and thicknesses. I think mine are medium.

I was also told to take a tiny pair of sissors and cut the band rather than pull it out.

Good luck.
