 new 4 lb maltipo ,with 2 yr old yorkie/chi??help'
hi, i hope i am on the right thread..we have had the new little guy for 3 days..have had about 6 or 7 snarling and attacking him from our yorkie..Do you feed them at totally separate times?
Also we are keeping the new baby in a doggie playpen which he seems to like and retreats there if he is frightened or snapped at..
Do i put yorkie in another room for time out, when he does this ..or if it is just a warning let it be..my yorkie is 8.8 lbs and the new pup is only 4 lbs..i just don't know if we are doing thing right..we have been giving our yorkie lots of attention as usual..but he is very possessive and i sometimes don't cuddle the new one when he can see..any suggestions on eating, sleeping arrangements..my yorkie has the couch..should i keep the playpen door closed ? at night ..just a tad insecure if i am doing things right..thanks Susan..Howie and Mickey's mom |
