Why is my Yorkie's Hair Still Black? Well, I'm not going to say blue or silver, because it's totally BLACK. He is two years old (b-day Feb. 2) and he had semi-long hair that reached his wrist. When he was a puppy, his hair was very very silky, but now it's all poofy and gets matted very easily. His face and lower body (chest, legs, paws, rear-end, everything under there) are tan but he's mainly black w/ a few tan and gray strands, in which some are shedding.
Is this normal??? Should I be concerned? I love my Daemar the way he is but I just wanted to know why this is and what I need to know....thanks..
