This may be one of those cases where the rescue has had the opportunity of having received (or maybe picked up at an auction) a young healthy litter which rescues sometimes adopt out to help cover some of the expenses of the older, sickly animals in their care.

It's a pretty common practice with different rescues across the country... I've even seen times when local breeders will donate a pup or an entire litter to "help the cause".

Sort of an "all proceeds will go to support.... etc." type of thing.

Not saying that this IS the case with this baby... I have no idea, and didn't even look at the webpage linked here.... but just what I've learned of the practices of some rescues.
