She sure is trying hard. She is standing for several minutes before she sits down (not falls) now. You can see her little legs just trembling but she keeps getting up and trying. So far she hasn't walked on her own. When she moves her front legs, her back ones just can't hold her butt up and she ends up dragging her little butt on the floor. The therapist said not to let her do that at all, so Barb picks her up and carries her in the sling I made if she can't work with her. That's what I'll do this weekend.
I get her all to myself alone! Barb and Peter are going away this weekend, so they said I could bring her home for the weekend if I thought I could manage it. So I'm gonna try. We'll try together! If I can't do it, I can take her to the Vet school and Donald - one of the techs that worked with her in the beginning - said he would watch her there.
I'm so excited to have her. Barb lets her sleep on their bed and she doesn't try to get off. I'm a little nervous about that. She used to jump all over the place at night,
I hope she'll stay put and not hurt herself. Maybe I'll just get her baby crate out of the closet and put it on the bed for her to sleep in.
