I was going to watch it too but, what you just said is the reason why I didn't....I had a feeling it would be like that - I like a few shows like 'It's me or the dog' (I think thats the name)
but even that show ends up being more about the people too.
with the zillions of people who dress their dogs these days - that WAS a pretty bad thing to say
