Max walks over looks up at me the goes and sits at the door, then looks back at me, till I open it.

He drops his toys at my feet, when he wants to play. Don't laugh, he sticks his tongue out if he wants something to eat or drink.

If someone is near the house he barks and makes low growling noises. Then runs back and forth looking at us until we go look.

Max has also learned he can howl. He doesn't like it if either my husband or I go out. The other day, he was whimpering, when all of a sudden he howled. It was so funny, he looked at me as if to say "what was that", then he tried it again, looked at me, then did it again. He hasn't done it again , so my husband hasn't heard it.
