Default New to Yorkie's and new to this site

Hi, after the loss of my 10 year old Lhasa Poo a month ago I adopted a Yorkie. She is a 4 year old breeder release. She has come a long way in the short time we've owned her. But we have an issue where she seems housebroken till I leave her home. If I take her with me she's fine all day while we're out. If I stay home she's fine all day, if I leave she will pee on the bathroom floor. Due to being locked up the first four years of her life she hates being locked up in a room and she is traumatized by the site of the kennel. She stiffens up and puts her legs out to keep from going in the door. Just the site of it changes her entire demeanor. If she wasn't afraid of the cat (who loved our last dog) and didn't pee when I left I would let her roam the house. I tried two excercise pens but she climbs straight up the sides and over the top (Spider Dog). Even the tall one, so I decided not to use them for fear she will hurt herself. Yesterday I walked across the street for about 10 min and she was howling when I came up the driveway. Any suggestions?
