Living in Central Florida, Scooter has to be on heartworm medication, because we have mosquitoes the size of planes. However, I have had him on HeartGard and twice after taking it, within a couple of hours, he started throwing up and continued to throw up for quite some time. I'm going to change him to Interceptor at our next vet visit. If you are going to be traveling anywhere in the South, they definitely need to be protected. I've seen a dog suffering from heartworms, and it is terrible!!!! |
