My 6 month old, (2.5 lbs) had diareah on Monday. I was concerned because there was some blood in it. I immediately called the vet and took her in. They tested her for parasites and the tests came back negative. While there, they gave her a shot of antibiotics and something to slow her intestinal system down. After we got home she had a couple of more runny bathrooms that evening but has been fine since. They sent her home with Clavamox and Flagyl for 5 days. The problem is now that she hasn't gone poop since Monday. She is feeling fine and eating the same amount as normal, but should I be concerned that she hasn't gone since Monday? Should I try some pumpkin, or is this normal after being on these meds? She doesn't seem to be in any discomfort? Any suggestions? Thanks for your help.
