My vet says NO Lyme vaccine and NO lepto vaccine for any dog under 15 lbs. He says anyone whose lifestyle puts a dog at significant risk of contracting either of those diseases needs a larger breed dog and should NOT have a Yorkie. I don't know about revolution or frontline or those types of things and would not use them on my dogs. You should be able to tell if your dog has earmites by any dark material in the ear, and there are ways to treat that without poisoning the dog. Cleaning the ears with olive oil works great. The itching could be due to something dietary.
