It's good to hear you're making a little progress with Stedman! He will remain in our prayers until he is 'going' normally again!

About the insurance, you can search for it on YT - there's one member who works for an insurance company that can give you more information, but I forget who it is. Also check out Pet Insurance Review for reviews on different companies.
But to be honest, it's best to get insurance when they are young healthy pups. I agree with Kellie on this one. Most insurance companies (or maybe ALL) won't cover anything pre-existing. This means that anything already in Stedman's or Tatum's files won't be covered.
So if they do need surgury for some reason the insurance company can say that because they had this-or-that symptom a long time ago it was a pre-existing condition and it won't be covered.
You could always just set up another bank account and every month put $30 or $40 in it, just like you were paying for insurance, and only use this account for vet emergencies! This is almost a better route because even if you don't use it all, you still have the money! And there are no limits on what it will cover!

Keep us updated on Stedman's progress and we hope you find a good solution to the financing!
Hugs from Sarah and Scooter
