I think the pups mum knows how far to go with her pups.

Katie whoes 14 months and Suzi 11 weeks, playfight all the time. Katie usually takes things off the little one, then there's a free for all because Suzi sticks up for herself. If I think Katie is getting too rough I check her.

I think they should be supervised initially. I agree it's the hierarchy, but I noticed with my breeder if one older dog is getting aggressive with younger ones they have to have time out alone in another room. She has four older Yorkies one at teenage, and five puppies. (Plus an Alsation.)
