Normally if you have her go potty on the pad you can them play with her on the carpet. They do give signs before the go to the bathroom. She may sniff arount, circle, and squat prior to actually going. As long as you watch and are playing with her it should be OK. Just start slowly and make sure there is a pad available for her to go to.

Depending on the dog it can take up to a year to fully train one.
