I asked Gracie's vet about this the first time she flew. She's flown many times by now. The vet asked how she travelled in a car---Gracie does great in a car, and the vet felt she'd also do great on a plane. She was right--Gracie just slept the whole way across the country and didn't make a peep. But, the vet said if she was nervous or upset, I could give her 1/2 of a children's benadryl.
