Yorkies in general are just so stubborn! Trust me I know I have trained dogs and now just train specifically Yorkies and they are difficult to train. After trial and error I have pretty much have it down to a science now though and my Yorkies always go on their potty pad or in the yard when I walk them. It does take a bit of patience but every Yorkie will eventually cooperate and learn to use the right restroom areas with the proper training. The website in my signature is really an awesome guide for Yorkies. It goes into specifics which I know other training guides out there really are just fluff. Hope this helps and goodluck!
