Most exhibitors use the rubber bands, but there are a few that find the clips easier to use. Its completely up to the exhibitor.
You can also watch the Breed judging at Westminster online usually the day after they compete. The Specialty is just before Westminster and you will usually find even more entered there. A lot of people choose not to go to the Garden since it is a benched show.
