I know when we got our furbie at 8 weeks old, she did cry when we left for work, i can hear it ringing in my ears as i left. we shut her in the kitchen and utilty, left the radio on, food toys and bed . It did take 2 weeks of crying before she stopped , my neighbour said she just used to cry o, n and off during the day. She did get used to it and i think she mostly sleeps as she doe snt play with her toys and seldom eats until e get back home.
