Yes, they are flaky. It almost looks like dandruff.

Staph infections can be treated with antibiotics like Cephalexin, but they tend to come back once the antibiotics are finished. That's what happened with Lady. I am now battling them with a medicated shampoo (Chlorihexiderm) and benzoil peroxide which is Clearasil. If he's only got a couple of spots, I'd try Clearasil. It works wonders.

Does he have allergies? A fish oil supplement like 3V caps is helpful, too.
