[Lady of Yorkies]

I was just reading a post about people being suspended from AKC for not keeping up their paperwork. What is this paperwork? Is it more than just keeping records of who bred to whom, when the pups were born and getting your dogs and litters registered? Is there a book listing all the paperwork that should be kept? I haven't raised dog for over 20 years and other than those things above, and sometimes not everything listed was kept. It was the way I was raised. My mother raised dogs off and on as I grew up and I don't think she kept any records, just did the registering and litter papers. Sylvia
