Went to Hawaii years ago...it is beautiful. We went to Honolulu on the main Island, the sights are many....do they still have the pineapple plantations...I am sure it has changed a lot from when I was there 35yrs ago back then it was a relatively new resort town. I think Oahu is the Island where some movie pic were filmed because it is soooo beautiful.
I remember they had one day a year when the "mainlanders" and the "islanders" fight...it was sort of a tradition...don't know if that still exists.
But if it does you are not supposed to go out or something. I think it was or is called Howlie Day (again spell ?).
