 Update on Finley
Finley is doing great - thanks for the support to everyone out there. We have been able to move to a 3 hour schedule, still round the clock but much better than the hourly ordeal! The best news is that yesterday she started to eat her dry food from her bowl!! Yeah! Not a lot, but she does sample throughout the day. We alternate the canned prescription food with puppy formula, high in protein and sugars. She has also started taking each feeding by licking from the syringe, instead of us having to force it down...makes things so much easier, and we don't feel so mean! She has TONS of energy, looks wonderful, and has quickly charmed the entire household. We will post pics soon, just wanted to let everyone know how we are doing! Again, thanks for all the suggestions on what to do. I was feeling extremely discouraged and sad. |
