I have had an experience like this before. I personally do not agree with the groomer trying to tell you how to treat your furkid. I guess when it happened to me, I felt completely helpless and I felt as though I was being ignored even though I had dished out plenty of money to have a service done MY WAY. You should definitely talk to the manager just so they know the groomer had complete disregard for your wishes.
The hair will grow back in no time. You'll see. Some yorkies do change colors. My Holly was really dark when she was a baby. Now she is completely silver and gold (blue and gold is what they call it). So sorry to hear about your experience. Hope all goes well.

P.S Someone on here is sure to help you with your clothing issue. There are spectacular vendors on here. I personally love Go Fetch.
