Brody had to stay the night before to make sure that he didn't eat or drink. He stayed the night of to make sure there were no complications. He came home ASAP the next day.
While I thought this was a little weird, it made sense and gave peace of mind. We had the procedure done with a vet that's also a 24/7 emergency clinic.
