DUG kept looking at him like he expected him to defend him and finally DH told him flat out that I was right and that he agreed with me that DUG was taking advantage of us and that he was also tired of him behaving as if the world owed him a living.
Which was pretty much what I was saying only I put it a lot more "colorfully".
So basically DUG cried and pulled his usual "oh poor pitiful me, my parents are dead I don't have anyone the whole world is against me guess I'll go eat worms" bullsh*t.
Now, I know its hard losing your parents. I really do. My bio dad died 3 years ago and my great parents (who are the ones who raised me) died when I was in my teens.
I sympathize with losing a parent(s). However, as an ADULT (especially one who will turn 47 on Friday), its part of life. His parents did not pass recently. It has been 10+ years.
I feel guilty for being mean, but I think he needed to hear a lot of what I said. He doesn't take hints very well so bluntly was the only way I felt I had to go.
