The protein isn't terribly high - sort of midrange. But, she may have needed more water to process it than for her previous kibble. Seems to have good meat content. Is it named "Before Grain Salmon" ? If so, that's kind of funny bc then they add in all kinds of meat - which is fine, but it's also nice to sometimes have a strictly fish kibble for many dogs who have issues w/ meat sensitivities. It looks pretty darn good - and has potatos instead of grains, has salmon oil, probiotics, joint support. Sometimes it's nice if they can avoid yeast and guar, but it's not the biggest deal.
