Personally, I think Orijen is one of the best kibbles on the market, hands down. There is nothing wrong w/ higher protein at all unless your dog has an issue w/ his liver/kidney/pancreas. If his stools are chronically too soft, then he needs to be checked for other things and I'd probably bring him in for a full fecal.
