Thanks for the replys.
I have been doing a lot of reseach since our vet said she would most likely need surgery. From what I am reading she has between a grade 2 and grade 3 luxating patella. Her knee is popping out about 4 or 5 times an hour and we have to manually put it back in. Is this severe enough to have surgery? I thought that this was really bad, but from what I am reading surgery may not be needed at this point. Any help would be appreciated. I am confused at this point.

P.S.-We go to the surgeon on Wed. the 23rd. The surgeon said he would do the operation that day if it is necessary.
