Gracie has tonsillitis! She started running a fever yesterday with clear nose drippage (is that a word?) and watery eyes, and she's been fighting the cough/hacking/choking/gagging thing for over a month now, so I took her back to the vet. He said her throat was inflamed and her tonsils swollen, so she got a shot of antibiotic/anti-inflammatory and is on two meds, one which is an antibiotic and the other is a decongestant! She has barely eaten for two days and he said it's because her little throat is so sore that she doesn't want to swallow!
On the good side...she's officially 2 lbs. now!
She went from 1.4 to 2.0 in 3 weeks time!!!!! Guess her appetite isn't too bad when she's not sick!
