We've been slowly getting him used to the water with weekend trips. We were worried about this big trip but he did so well. I would get a life jacket and a child's pool and start putting it on so they can get comfortable with it on...Hot Rod was not a happy camper when we first starting putting it on him. We started back in Feb. Good luck. I would love to have a pool!
