Out of curiosity, how young should they be when you start brushing? Scooter is 16 weeks and his mouth is so small I don't think I could get a brush or my finger in there!
I started the day after I brought Buddy home at 14wks. I read that Yorkies
loose their teeth very early if not taken care of. It did help that his mouth
was a little larger being a bigger boy. I have read on here where owner's
have used a piece of gauge to clean the little one's teeth so they get
use to having the hand in their mouth. Good idea to start now. It's
another chore to do but believe me it will save you $$ down the road.
