I heard back from my vet and he recommended I use the last of my antibiotic(metrodinazole), the chicken and rice food and then wean him back onto the Royal Canin food. He said if you find a food that works stick with it so I'm going back to RC. He did say it can take weeks for the system to balance out again. If after 3 or so weeks if there is still an issue we will then look into specific food allergies. I had heard that the Natural Balance can cause gas so I do think it's the food that is his issue now.

Levismommy, I'd take a stool sample to the vet for a worm check to be sure then move onto a bland diet and then wean him onto a better food you order online. Royal Canin worked for me better than Natural Balance, but many folks love NB. Was there a food he was on when you got him that agreed with him that you can switch back to?
