Any thoughts on why he might be doing this? He scratches some during the day (but not anymore than the usual dog would scratch) but this early morning itching frenzy is driving me (and him) crazy. I've read on here that some yorkies are sensitive to corn so I've checked to be sure his food doesn't have corn and I've been checking the treats. I've scoured him over for fleas many times and never have found any. Any ideas ?
OMG! It is like you just descrided a morning at my house. I am at a loss. I tried the oatmeal shampoo so far no luck. Her dog food does have corn in it. What should I get? She has had one allergy shot and it stopped the itching for about 2 months but I would really like to find the cause instead of just giving her shots every month. I have done the same thing with the fleas. Every time she scratches I check her and no fleas can I find. Poor thing hasn't even been on the ground in weeks because I thought it was fleas.
