Reunion.com is such a spamming scam!
Tonight I got an forwarded email from a friend that I hadn't talked to in a few years that had a message like, "Do you know ____ ____? They are looking for you!" So I go to the site, sign up, and everything looks OK. Then, I go to my email account to find out that it has sent the same message to EVERYONE in my address book! What a disaster! There are a number of people in my address book who I have no contact with anymore but kept their contact information in case I needed it.
Can you believe something like this is legal?? In order to cancel your account you have to CALL.
Apparently the site is legit BUT they regularly spam their members. I also read that their are the same (sister?) company as classmates.com which does the same thing.
So be on the lookout of this ripoff of a website!
