So here I am, stuck in a job I don't really enjoy anymore, in a city I'm sick of, in the same province I've lived in all my life. I've decided I want to move next year, I don't know where, I don't know when, but just sometime I want to get out of here, and it'll get done if I actually put a timeline on it! So last week I found this ad for a job in Vancouver and I didn't have quite the experience they were asking for but I thought what the heck, I might as well get practise making a new resume and sending one out so it's not all new to me when I'm ready. I sent it last week and when I got home tonight there was a message on my phone saying they have my resume and want to talk to me. WHAT???
So I couldn't breathe for awhile, and then I was shaking for awhile, and then I even cried for awhile lol. I am calling him back tomorrow. Oh my gosh I'm just a small town Saskatchewan girl and this big Vancouver engineering firm is INTERESTED in me!
I just wanted to share. I'm pretty much overcome with emotion. I want to go SO BAD but wasn't expecting anything this soon.
I have never been to Vancouver and I don't even know if I'd be able to afford living there. From what I've seen it's really tough to find dog-friendly rental places there. I just feel so frazzled right now!
