I've been doing lots of reading catching up on post. I'm glad to hear we have lots of babies coming into the world of YT. Just an update, for those of you who've read my previous threads and know my story. My husband's boss told me he had someone who wanted to buy Doo Doo's whole litter, the person is opening a pet store the middle of August and I guess Doo Doo's litter is a new hybrid (corkies) I'm against it all the way. So after lots of begging I asked him to give me a chance to find these little ones a home. So the first one (a boy) I'm giving to my sister in California. It leaves 5, 3 girls, 2 boys. I met a lot of families over this past week and narrow it down to a few. One family picked a girl for grama and a boy for themselves. Another lady I picked has a big yard and one older daughter in her teen years, she picked a girl as well. The last couple I picked had a young son 12 years old and no pets in the home, they also picked my last girl. Which left me with one boy, I'm meeting with another family this week to see how they'll do. I know the pups are very small for me to be finding homes for, but I just couldn't bear the thought of these little ones being sold to a pet store. I don't know if some of you are going to eat me up alive, but I couldn't let them go to a pet store. Please let me know if there was something else I could have done different. |
Well I am glad you kept them from going to a petstore! I am sure you found them good homes, maybe you could right up a contract saying that if the new owners can't keep the puppies they must be returned to you. How old are they now? Have you already let them go?
