I have been reading about travelling with Yorkies on airplanes, however, I have not seen a case were the trip would be about 8 hours and with 1 stop.

We are travelling with American Airlines, and I read on the website that no dogs can travell in the cabin with us, but they need to go to the cargo. However, it does not make any reference to the size of the dog. I will be calling to see if it is possible to have Cody with us in the cabin. (he is 3 year old, 5 pounds)

In the meantime, what experiences or recomendations you can give me for such a long flight as that?
