I booked Deegan's neuter a couple weeks ago and the costs that they gave me were $250 for the neuter (regular, because they don't do laser.), $30 for pre-anesethia testing, $85 for the microchip, and $10 per each tooth to be withdrawn. I figure it's going to cost about $400. It's steep, but the pre anestethia test is only an extra $30, so I am going to have it done. But it's pretty steep for what you were quoted at ($120)! Ouch, I would just wait to see how many people actually had the pretest done and it they think it was helpful or not. And of course maybe call some vets for their opinions.
