I would say if the nutrical doesn't work then you need to have your dog checked out. You will feel lots better getting the vets opinion on that problem. Mine will hide in my bedroom on the bed when my DH will start his motorcycle or the fireworks or a storm. She doesn't like storms she will pace if its a heavy wind or rain that is strong. They do have good hearing. My hubby tends to turn the TV up or have the surround sound on and she will also leave the room. Its too much for her. The others don't seem to do that.
