I used to have a german shepard that did this. i don't really care if it's normal or not. It was the grosses thing! Blah!! The vet told me that they do it when they are missing something in their diet. I can't remember what it was exactly, but he did tell me to mix soem yougurt in with her food and she should stop. So I tried it for a while and she did stop. Eventually I weened her off of the yogurt and she never did it again. So it worked. Give it a try. Hope it helps. |
