...since my husband had his colon cancer surgery. After the surgery and while still in the recovery he had a massive heart attack. Then his "boss" came to the hospital to visit him and more or less told him not to come back to work - after 15 years of service.
But it's been five years and he has had a lot of heart surgeries, etc., but he is totally cancer free and his heart is doing great!! YAY! He has a new (better!) job now where he is treated with respect.
So, even though life throws you a few zingers, there is still plenty of good stuff to look forward to. I feel very blessed today.
