i recently got my puppy at the age of 8 weeks and the breeder fed him orijen puppy . i continued with that and bought merricks puppy plate to mix in with the orijen since i heard it was very high in protein especially for a puppy . i also noticed that his poop was very soft but he still seems to enjoy it more than the merricks . he picks at the orijen and usually leaves the merricks in the bowl until he is hungry again to eat the rest of it . are there other options ? which food should i switch him to with a bit of lower protein ? i've heard many great reviews about the merricks but he doesn't seem to like it should canned food be recommended with it ? all your opionions would help , thanks .
