| Neutered males fighting...new F. dog in house after last died suddenly THESE ARE NOT MY DOGS...THIS QUESTION IS FOR A FRIEND....PLEASE HELP...ANY IDEAS ??? Two young males age 2 and a half and 3 years have started fighting after neutering where they never did before.
In the house is a new female pup age 5 months, and last female died a month ago age 1 year....who the boys are missing terribly.
I suggested it was the new unspeyed girl, and the fact that they might not realise that eachother is neutered and it is a pecking order thing over the new female...plus the fact that they all got on with the last female who died might also be upsetting them.
Apparently it could also be the female owner getting fought over...ie. jealousy as both want the attention ???? I suggested muzzeling the two and letting them be together.
The last time they were together since the family changed they tore into eachother drawing blood and one had a cut leg and the other a cut ear...both bleeding.
They are now kept apart. Any ideas to prevent one having to be rehomed anyone ???
Thankyou |
