We have a 14 month old Lab and our Yorkie is almost 9 months. We got our Lab (Miley) first and she was potty trained in days! Miley is so smart and picks things up very fast. I REALLY wanted a Yorkie and after having a very easy beginning with Miley I went for it.

We just love Paisley our Yorkie! Potty training was so much more difficult. She rarely had accidents in the house, but I was constantly on her. I don't think I could have done them both at the same time and had the same amount of success.

I will tell you that when Paisley came things got very hard. I could/can not leave them alone together. They are always supervised. Miley is very playful! She can be too rough with Paisley and I need to intervene. Miley doesn't mean to hurt Paisley but simply because of her size I need to be cautious.

I hope they will be great friends and can see that happening already. I try to "train" them separately, but notice Paisley watching Miley. I think she picks up faster as a result of seeing Miley do the commands.

Good luck!

I hope this helps some.

Paisley 5.3 pounds Miley 62 pounds!
