I need some advice on a matter that seems to be getting worse as Toby gets older. He is about 8 months old right now. He turns into the tasmanenan devil when the following happens to him: He throws up and you approach him (i think he wants to eat it), his bed (very protective of it) and the occasional favorite toy is taken from him. He literally attacks and you have to jump up on furniture to save yourself. Very scary. He is the most lovable dog any other time, such personality. He loves everyone, very social with people and other dogs. Just sometimes he behaves very inappropriately.
I was so shocked the first time he did it to me, I couldn't react. He bite my foot and broke the skin. He also weighs about 4 pounds. Ha Ha.
When he does this I scream no and tell him bad. I think he knows its not right. I just don't want to have to deal with a dog that bites. He will be neutured this month, I don't know if that will calm him down.
People tell me I need to show him who the boss is by grabbing him and holding him on his back for several minutes. Any suggestions would be appreciated. I don't want to have to give him up.
