I was just wondering why you would not want the bows to be stuff (or Hard) I've never heard this before..... After a few time of wear the bows start to lose their stuffiness and then they are just like the ones that are not stiffened as much..... This gives you many more times to use them....

Also on the bands, what size does everyone what???? I use the smaller ones so the bands on the bows won't have to be double over.... (the bands on the back of the bow are not to be used to hold the hair, that is what grooming bands are for) You are always welcome to let me know if you want something different..... I do many custom requests....

As for barrettes.... They are a huge choking hazard and I do not want anyone to experience anything horrible... You know our fur-babies are our babies.... I have 2 of my own.....

Yes my time from is a little long but it does take time to make a beautiful bow.... Other's who make bows are up to 5 months.... Check out Dog Bows and Dog Show Bows by Doggie Bow Ties (5 Months) and Dog Bows by Haley - High Quality Dog Bows, Dog Show Bows & Accessories(13-16 weeks)....

Gosh I didn't mean for this to become such a long post but I did want to get a few points across....

Well, with all said.... I am running a sale for a couple of more days (15% off all orders $15 or more)..... If you would like to get in on it you are welcome to join.... Just use coupon code JULY3DAYSALE (Just remember my time wait will be a little long especially since the sale)

Thanks for you time in reading what I have to say.....

Hi teresa! let me answer your questions so you can get a better idea, as now that I am reading around I believe I have specific issues due to my specific dog.

Well as I said pebbles is soo tiny!! she is 2.8 pounds and very compact with a little tiny head!! actually I havent been able to use the bows enough times to find out that they get less stiff with more usage. The only time I saw one get less stiff was once when a bow fell out and she got it in her mouth and was chewing on it for a bit! it got a lot softer after that.. I would hate to try wetting them though to get them to be softer. my main issue with the hardness, as compared to others, is that it makes them heavier. I do not have a problem with them being stiff, as my other bows are stiff, but yours seem to be a bit more stiff .. it also makes the loops poke out a lot/ as they can be kinda round and it makes them look big on pebbles head. i try to squish them down a bit to make them look more proportionate on her but it doesnt always work. I like the loops you have on your hello kitty/ single loop bows... those work a lot better!

Pebbles has thin hair so even with the tiny bands, I have to double to triple the loop around her top knot for them to stay in. This seems near impossible! I am unsure of the length of the bands I use, but I would say they are a little bigger than yours, with some more elasticity for easier doubling up. the grooming bands i use are quite big and thin actually which I have to tie around 7 times. I do not expect the bows to be made with those kinds of bands though.

I agree with the poster above that bow makers should give this as an option. as I have mentioned above, the bows have fallen out with the rubberbands and she has gotten a hold of them and chewed on them!! I think that is just as bad as having one with a barette in your mouth, but as it has been, with how I tie the barrette ones in, they have never gotten out an into her mouth. It IS a matter of individual usage/personal application of the bows

now that is just ridiculous!!! 5 months? are they servicing the entire dog show community? lol!!

I am glad you are running a sale.. I saw the email in my box. thanks for that! I will look into your options and see into possibly custom ordering some with bigger elastics but please do consider offering the (french)barrettes!
